"I sat for a long time trying to figure out what made our studio unique from every other one. After seeing so many other photographers work I stood in my gallery and stared at my images for awhile. What made us different??? Then, it hit me like a brick. It was me. I was the one who makes our studio and photography unique. It’s my eye that sees the art in every moment and my heart that feels every emotion my art depicts. I could say so many other things but I can promise you, you would hear them from others as well. I truly pour my life and experience into my art. From marrying the man I love 12 years ago to sharing every moment of our daughter’s life. No one else has lived my life or seen what I have seen. My work is unique because I am a unique person, just like every one of my clients. I am not a cookie cutter photographer. "
Karen is one of 9 Certified Professional Photographers in Rochester. This title can only be obtained through rigorous study and submission of images to a board of judges. The test is administered by the same board that certifies public accountants and plumbers. Karen is also an award winning photographer having received many ribbons and local accolades. She also has acquired top honors from The Professional Photographers of New York State in the wedding division by receiving a court of honor, its highest award. Nationally she has received ribbons of distinction and will be receiving her Master of Photography in the future. Currently she is also president of the Greater Rochester Professional Photogaphers (GRPP).

Co Owner and Photojournalist. Hai sees everything in the details. He knows just how hard you’ve worked to make everything come together on your day. He stays in the background so he can capture the moments and emotions that will inevitably erupt during your day. “I tend to look for the extraordinary going on right around us; the things that are happening while you're looking elsewhere - the little flower girl spinning away gleefully, mom crying or dad trying to holding back a tear.” Hai has won awards at a local, state and national level.
